Please note that this feature is only available to clients who deliver courses to learners via email and /or SMS.

Messaging packs are collections of messages that are sent to learners at different stages of a course enrolment, as configured by the user. Courses can be delivered via email, SMS, and / or Microsoft Teams, depending on your subscription plan and preferences.

Each messaging pack contains the following entries:

  • Delivery: This is the initial message that is sent to learners when the course is first delivered. It should contain enough information to help the learner understand what the course is about and why they should take it.

  • Nudge 1, Nudge 2, Nudge 3, and Nudge 4: These are reminder messages that are sent to learners who have not yet started or completed the course.

When completing the messaging for each channels, users can configure the following:

  • Email: Subject line, intro message, button label, outro message, and

  • SMS:

    • For delivery: the message body, at the end of which the link to that learner's course will be automatically appended by the platform

    • For all nudges: a message for when a course has not been opened, and message for when a course has been opened but not completed

  • Microsoft Teams: Subject line, intro message, button label, outro message

Messaging Packs in Action

Messaging packs, on their own, are just the content. It is when enrolling learners into a course that you choose which messaging pack, when to send the delivery / any nudges, and via which channels (of those with completed messaging).
