Group of learners that can be followed up with

When a group of learners has had the course delivered to them, you're able to configure an additional email to be sent to one of these subgroups:

  1. Incomplete: Learners who have received the course but not yet completed it.

  2. Failed: Learners who have completed the course but failed (assuming the course has at least one quiz question with a correct response).

  3. Opted out: Learners who opted out of the course.

An additional email can only be set up on a group of learners when:

  1. The course and any automated nudges have been delivered to the learners in the group; and

  2. There is no other email currently scheduled for this group on this course.

You can view all configured additional emails in 'Course Enrol Record' section of the Analytics Page, Course Tab. Follow the below link to head there.

Setting up a follow-up email

  1. On the Classroom page, click on the 'Follow up' button

  1. Fill in the initial details of the form:

    1. Select the enrolment group of learners you want to follow up with

    2. Select the subgroup of learners in that enrolment to be followed up

  1. Click on the email section to configure the contents of the email to be sent

When configuring the email to be sent to learners who have had courses delivered but haven't completed, you can configure the URL of the button to be their unique course URL or override and add your custom link.

After selecting the nudge to be used, you can click on the View email preview text to see how the nudge would appear on your learner's end.

  1. Then, click on the email delivery section to setup the delivery date and hour

  1. Once all of the details have been correctly inputted, click the 'Setup Email' button

Cancelling a follow up email
